All staff were fantastic. Friendly and customer oriented. Room AC was not working properly. Set at 65 but still fairly warm even at night. Shower facilities weren’t great. Low pressure and didn’t work well.

We were wrapping up our visits to Banff, Waterton, and Glacier and decided to take advantage of Calgary itself. We were very happy to have chosen the Fairmont for this final leg!

3 night stay at the end of a holiday. Requested room change from trackside room was well handled. Comfortable beds. Nice spa . Food & service excellent, portions large.
The best part of our visit to the Calgary Stampede was coming in from the crowds to impeccable service. The Gold Team seemed to be able to foresee our needs and made us feel welcome and comfortable. They were able to fulfill last minute requests (thanks, Jill!) and surprised us with a nice card and desert for our anniversary, even though we'd only mentioned the occasion in casual conversation with one of the team members (Sammy). Not only was the Gold Team great, but everyone from housekeeping to valet was top notch. We truly enjoyed our stay.
My stay was really good, I appreciate all the team at Fairmont Palliser and a special mention to Jack, the server at breakfast time, he was amazing.
Terribly noisy room - bath tap blew off and damaged son’s foot. Room dated and overpriced.
There were several issues that developed during this stay that lead me to leave this review and rating. Namely, the air conditioning was less than adequate. After engineering came out every single night of our stay, we ended up having to use 2 fans in the room for cooling. Wholly unacceptable. Additionally, the front desk staff could not get the name right on my reservation any of the nights we were there. They couldn't be bothered to change it. I've stayed in Fairmonts several times and this will be my last.
Everything except the fitness center was outstanding- the room service, the restaurant, the spa, the massages, the turn down service were all top quality. The fitness center was the opposite. None of the equipment there had working tv input, 2 of 3 elliptical machines had component parts missing or parts were damaged. At times, there were no ear buds available for use. All the fitness machines were very tired and needed replacement.
The room was poor. The bathroom awful and aircon very noisy.
