The hotel staff were helpful and accommodating.
the help desk was kind of rude with us when we asked him how can I reserve gold to be able to use the 29 floor mosque, because I was not able to reserve it online.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel especially the food. We would be tired at night time and the buffet was always delicious and different every night. However, the lack of assistance with luggage upon departure, despite staff observing the struggle and not even opening the door for us, left a negative impression.

The hotel needs maintenance as the fixtures and furniture is getting worn out. However, the close proximity to the Haram and excellent service from the staff still makes it an ideal place to stay. Special shout out to Riaz Hussain (breakfast restaurant), Kashif and Haroon (house keeping) and the lovely gentleman manning the complimentary coffee counter in the lobby (forgot his name). He always offer the Arabic coffee with such a sincere smile that makes your day! Thank you.
Good food, pray location in one building,
As an Accor Diamond Member, I had high expectations for our stay at the Fairmont Clock Tower Hotel from July 10th to 13th with my wife and our 11-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, our experience was profoundly disappointing. The check-in process was an ordeal. Despite having access to the priority check-in desk, it took over 30 minutes to complete. When I requested the room upgrade that should have been offered automatically, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes, watching another guest argue for a better upgrade before I was finally offered a paltry upgrade. The so-called upgrade was merely a double room with a view and a rollaway bed option, which felt like an insult given my Diamond status. The room itself, though featuring a view, only had two beds. The rollaway bed was placed in front of the window, obstructing our partial Kaaba view. To preserve the view, my wife and I were forced to share a single bed. The situation worsened the following day with maintenance work on the 20th floor, resulting in paint tins, dust, and fumes in the corridors throughout our stay. It's baffling that the check-in staff was unaware of these disruptions. What prevented this from being a 1-star review was the exceptional service from Riyas and his team at breakfast and the dinner staff. Their professionalism and attentiveness were the only highlights in an otherwise dreadful stay. In summary, this stay was marred by poor service, insufficient room upgrades, and significant disruptions. As a Diamond Member, I expected a far higher standard of accommodation and service.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were very attentive ti our needs and made sure our stay is flawless. The breakfast buffet was diverse and fresh. And the check out experience was quick and easy.
