Satisfied
Everybody was so nice and so personable. The boys that did our room did an excellent excellent job. The servers at the food did an excellent job. Everybody was top-notch as far as the crew goes. The food food I was disappointed in no prime rib had to pay extra for lobster tails and when you have a premium package that should’ve been included.

lounge chairs in the room not very comfortable and not placed in a position to easily watch the Television
My granddaughter and I had a pre-cruise stay arranged by Holland America Cruise Line and found the hotel to be well organized, responsive to our questions and most of all, very friendly. Our stay was relaxed, (minus the wild, aggressive taxi ride from the airport to the hotel) and the in house restaurant was perfect. Great food and quick to seat us away from the bar area which was much appreciated.
all went well
Stayed 1 night prior to cruise. Everything was lovely and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I was travelling to Vancouver to celebrate my birthday as well to attend a funeral. When I booked my room the reservation said room with a tub so I was definitely expecting to see a tub when we got to our room and to our surprise there wasn’t one but it wasn’t a big deal and it was late so we decided to talk to the front desk in the morning. We also had spoken to the person at the front desk about having a mini fridge brought up but that never happened. Our room was far from clean, there was a cashew nut on the floor, dried phlegm in the sink, and pubic hair in the shower. My sister spoke to someone the next day about swapping rooms and the lady she spoke to said absolutely and she would send someone up to our room to help us switch, after 3 hours no one came so I went down and spoke to the front desk again and they had no record of this request so the gentleman helped me switch rooms. I went out and my sister stayed in the room and eventually found out the wifi was down in our room and no one could fix it. Ethan from engineering was the most helpful person and got us in a different room and made sure the wifi worked before confirming the room. The problem was that once again it took so long and was close to 10pm on Saturday night and we had a funeral in the morning, the person we spoke to on the phone said he would send something to our room as an apology for everything but we got nothing and waited up for essentially nothing. Overall I was deeply disappointed because I know the name behind the fairmont is supposed to hold merit but my stay definitely didn’t show that. The only people I want to give an amazing shout out to for their work is Ethan in engineering and mikaeel who helped us with our mini fridge situation twice. I come to Vancouver a lot to visit family but after this I definitely don’t think I’d pick to stay at the fairmont
