Everything was great - but the avocado toast I had at the hotel restaurant for breakfast was pathetic! Thin bread & very little avocado! Truly a disappointment!
Stay on Gold Floor. Room was ok..nothing crazy. Had dinner in the bar. The service is always amazing in Notch8. Ordered the steak it was a 4/10. Overall i love this Hotel and try to stay at Fairmonts when ever i can. The food was a miss this time.

9th floor excellent and staff lovely and helpful. My room (834 or 934, I think) was perfectly located across from the lounge on the 9th floor which was very convenient for me as I have mobility issues. My daughter and I were there for nine days to see new grandchild and your staff were our ‘friends’. We miss them!
This was the first time being in Vancouver and the Fairmont Vancouver was close to all the attractions and offered great amenities during my stay. A unisex sauna would be a better idea as would a hot tub in the pool area.

I would have preferred housekeepinng to service rooms earlier. On both my days, I returned from my conference at 3 pm and my rooms was not made up. The first night I wanted to stay in so put up privacy so as not to be disturbed after 3 pm (having a messy room), the second I stayed out an extra hour hoping that my rooms would be cleaned, whic it was. I think this is very late.
Russell at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had a beautiful room for our 5-day stay.
This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property . It time for some upgrades . There was no ac and the room was 25C . It was very uncomfortable. A fan was brought to the room but did not make up for the lack of air conditioning . The room never went below 24c . There was no mini fridge to store food. Had to get one delivered to my room. The tv had issues connecting to my phone . The tvs are old and need to be replaced . Lots of minor inconveniences that can be fixed . I wouldn’t stay here again . I was not allowed to get points for my stay because I booked through my Amex . Even the room service and restaurant fees wouldn’t be added towards points . The front desk worked upon check out were rude .
