Frequently asked questions

Fairmont Grand Del Mar requires the engagement of an accredited wedding planner whowill oversee all planning details for your special day. Additionally, all vendors involved inthe event must possess a valid business license and maintain a minimum liabilityinsurance policy of $1 million.

Preferred guestroom rates are available with a 10+ room commitment per evening. Guestroom rates and a contract will be provided by a sales manager. Please note that you willbe responsible for fulfilling the contracted guest rooms. Guest rooms less than ten roomsper night are offered at posted on-line rates.

Valet parking services are available at a rate of $25 per vehicle. This fee can beconveniently applied to the master account upon request. Alternatively, guests will paytheir own valet parking charges at the time of service.

Two individual day use guest rooms will be provided on a complimentary basis. Access tothe rooms is from 5:00 am – 5:00 pm on your wedding day.

The food and beverage minimum is the least amount of money that you will be requiredto spend on food and beverage items excluding tax and administration fee. The food andbeverage minimum depends on the venue of choice that is selected. Labor, parking, sitefees do not go towards food and beverage minimums. Couples typically spendapproximately $350-$450 per guest for dinner receptions excluding tax andadministration fee. The resort requires a three-course minimum for all dinner functions.
