Court Reservations:
To make a reservation, please contact the Club Front Desk at 510-549-8517 during operations hours: 6am – 9pm. Ball Machine is available, but must be reserved – $20/30 minutes and $30/60 minutes
Tennis Lessons:
The Claremont’s USPTA certified tennis pros are available for private and group lessons. Lesson rates: Members: $70 – $180 / Guests: $100 – $200 varying with number of participants and lesson duration.
Junior Tennis Programs:
Monday – Thursday 4-6:30 the Claremont offers classes for developing Juniors learning to play the sport, and advanced players looking to improve their match out comes. Monthly registrations available September – May. Email Schuyler.Hayden@Fairmont.com for more information. Classes available:
Red and Orange (Ages 5-10): Beginning players use larger softer balls to develop their on-court coordination and fundamental techniques.
Green (Ages 8-12): Progressing players working to developing their serve, forehand, backhand, and learning the rules and etiquette of the game.
Yellow (Ages 9- 14): Intermediate players able to serve and rally. Coaches will introduce tactics and strategy while working to improve ball control and extend rallies.
Academy (Bases on abilities): Players who have begun tournament or high school play and are seeking to solidify their output. Coaches will assist players in refining their technique, define style of play, and match situations.
