DAY 1
ARRIVAL | As you disembark the plane and approach the Arrivals Hall at BGI, you will be greeted by a smiling agent holding the Fairmont sign. You will be fast-tracked through Immigration and assisted with luggage collection. Quickly after, the waiting ground transportation will drive you to the hotel in comfort and style. A cold towel and a refreshing welcome cocktail in your hand during check-in, will be the beginning of many unforgettable memories!

SUNSET COCKTAILS & DINNER ON THE DECK AT TABORAS RESTAURANT | At Taboras Deck, the culinary experience is about sharing and togetherness. Our menu features a variety of family-style sharing platters, offering an array of dishes meant to be enjoyed collectively. From succulent grilled meats and fresh seafood, to vibrant salads and artisanal bread, each platter is a feast for the senses. The dishes are prepared with high-quality ingredients and are perfect for sparking conversation and creating memories around the table.
DAY 3
TOUR OF ST. NICHOLAS ABBEY | Journey through the plantation’s grounds on a beautiful steam locomotive. Your narrated tour takes you past the historic St. Nicholas Abbey Great House, around the lake, home to wild waterfowl and migratory birds, and through the mature mahogany woodlands. The tour includes a stop at Cherry Tree Hill, an elevated point offering incredible highland views of the island’s rugged east coast. You will be treated to an exclusive look at the new extension to the railway. As Barbados is the birth place of rum, see the cutting of the cane and sample some of the award-winning “liquid gold” produced at The Abbey.
LUNCH AT ANIMAL FLOWER CAVE | Discover the unique features of Animal Flower Cave located on the most northerly point of the island. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the cave, indulge in a delicious lunch, and perhaps take a refreshing swim in the stunning, crystal-clear waters of the underground pools and discover a world you never knew existed. This is where many TV shows and music videos have been filmed.
DINNER IN PALM TERRACE RESTAURANT | Enjoy family style culinary experience inspired by the world travels of our Executive Chef Tim Palmer. The menu pays homage to indigenous, seasonal and sustainably sourced ingredients, some of which are prepared in our Josper Oven. You will have the privilege to sit with two islanders who have made significant environmental impacts to Barbadian landscape and sea creatures.
DAY 4
TOUR OF HUNTE’S GARDENS | Deemed as “The most enchanting place on earth”, you can feel peace of mind and the tranquility of your soul whilst being surrounded by nature in some of the wondrous varieties it has to offer. Take a leisurely stroll through the tall palm trees of what once was a regular gully; which has now become a majestic transformation by Anthony Hunte into an ornately designed garden known by many around the world.
LUNCH AT THE BEACH CLUB | When it comes to food, the Beach Club excels in offering a variety of delectable options. The menu is crafted to cater to different tastes, featuring a mix of hearty lunches and light bites. Enjoy freshly caught seafood, vibrant salads, and gourmet sandwiches that highlight the best of coastal cuisine. Every dish is prepared with the finest ingredients, ensuring a burst of flavor in every bite.
MOUNT GAY RUM DISTILLERY TOUR & MIXOLOGY CLASS | Immerse yourself into our heritage, craftsmanship and terroir. You will be guided through an in-depth tasting session with a Rum Expert, followed by an interactive Cocktail session lead by an Award-Winning Mixologist. Get all the tips, tricks, techniques and recipes as we shake, stir and muddle!
