Superb location and very good, friendly and accomodating staff. I notice that many of the staff have been with you for many years which says a lot. However the facility itself could really use an overhaul. I notice that you are renovating one of the buildings which is good. The car park area is rough and unpaved . The dining chairs in the Palms restaurant were dirty and sagging to the point of digusting. I notice they have covers that can easily be removed and there is no reason why they cannot be spot cleaned or laundered once a week. A couple of floor tiles in my room were cracked and the pillows were old and lumpy. At USD $1,200 per night, I think most guests would expect a better facility.

The only hotel in the area that has all rooms facing the sea. Staff are always happy, smiling and willing to help. We have tried other hotels on Barbados but always come back to the Fairmont we like the location, the room, the staff and even the hotel cat 🐈

We had a fantastic week at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion. The hotel is nicely furnished with beautiful landscaping. The beach is nice and clean. The water is warm. The room was great. The food was tasty. The entire staff was welcoming, smiling and very helpful. Everything was perfect. Although there were many people that want to thank, we don’t know all of there names. However, we do want to personally acknowledge and thank Natalie King and Michael, who answered my email queries and surprised us with a room upgrade and anniversary present in our room. Also thanks to Lauren and Shaunte at the front desk who were always very helpful. A big thanks to Janelle Yearwood, the chef who made us a fabulous special Bajan dinner, and Sabrina who facilitated the menu. Another thanks to Ryan who was great tour guide on our Hobie Cat ride and is very knowledgeable and has a great personality.

We stayed in a beach front suite. Very nice. Butlers were great. All staff super friendly. On the beach would have been better to spread out beach chairs more and on the other side near the bar and restaurant too. Would be nice to find a system to have the beach chairs reserved for exclusive use in front of beachfront suite. These rooms give you nice perks such as butler service and afternoon tea etc - so the addition of reserved beach chairs would be great. Restaurant food options were very limited and not great. Would be great to see this improved. They were pretty empty so I guess most guests knew to eat elsewhere.

Third time back to the Royal Pavilion and never fails to impress. Really noticeable how friendly the team are and they never pass you without an acknowledgement or greeting. Breakfast was good and varied with some nice healthy options. Room was good and the views were excellent! Really enjoyed the round sunbeds on the balcony spacious and comfortable. Two areas which could have been better were the Cocktails evening (not well publicised or attended) and the Afternoon teas (on our previous visits were free). Other than that a lovely hotel in an amazing location!
