The Corniche
Described as the golden coastline, the Corniche features 16 kilometres of beach overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Take a stroll and visit a number of side walk cafes and traditional restaurants, while a tidal pool provides a sheltered area for swimming.
Ajman Museum
Established first as an 18th century fort, the Ajman Museum houses a staggering collection of artefacts and archeological finds, including centuries old manuscripts, weaponry and pottery. Providing a rare glimpse into traditional Emirati life, explore recreations of ancient wells, irrigation systems, as well as dhow building and pearl trade roots, once the lifeblood of industry in the UAE. The museum also exhibits the finds from an excavated cemetery with pottery and jewelry dating back to 3000 BC.
Al Zorah Nature Reserve
Discover undisturbed wildlife in the form of lush mangroves extending over two kilometres of ecologically rich and biologically diverse wetlands. The reserve is home to over 60 species of bird, including a large flock of elephant flamingos, Eurasian spoonbills and a variety of marine life.
Al Tallah Camel Racecourse
Deeply rooted in the Bedouin history of the UAE, camel racing is still popular today where it remains a popular past time for the Royal family and local Emiratis. It is advisable to arrive at the racecourse early in the morning to witness the camels in action.
Ajman Equestrian Club
Horse riding is a national sport in the UAE, and Ajman has some of best stables housing Arabian horses. The Ajman Equestrian Club features over 100 horses, with a range of activities and lessons available. Led by expert trainers, lessons are conducted in a number of languages for complete beginners to advance riders with show jumping techniques and dressage.

One of best kept secrets in the UAE, a slice of beautiful coastline can be found at Hamriyah Free Zone, with a desolate and windswept beach, highlighted by vividly blue water and unobstructed views of the Arabian Gulf. For something ‘closer to home’, Fairmont Ajman boasts an equally exquisite beachfront stretching out 200 metres.
