Simply the best hotel we‘ve experienced. Excellent friendly, helpful, very prompt, competent staff. Also very professional. Outstanding food. Just steps from large shopping mall with a large array of restaurants and meeting areas.
I was extremely pleased with the service provided by all staff. Sharon from Quest Services went above expectations when she arranged a cake and photos to be taken at our birthday celebrations at Prego. We were also provided with complementary update for the 3 rooms the family was occupying and the rooms were wonderful. The hotel is in an amazing location and my favorite hotel in Singapore
It was brief, just one night. We did have a little difficulty with the light switching system, but eventually figured it out.
Overall an ok experience for a Fairmont hotel, but certainly not amongst the best. despite requesting in advance an early check-in (a perk of platinum Accor status), on arrival I was told I could only check in at 3pm, the usual time (despite there clearly being rooms in category available). Not what one really wants to hear after a very long-haul flight. After front-desk staff eventually managed to find me a room, I could not access the Club lounge, despite having booked a a Signature Gold Suite (i.e. with Fairmont Gold access). When I went to front desk to query, I was told that I had not booked the right room category, only resolved when I showed them my booking confirmation on the app. These are all just little annoyances which one doesn't need after a long trip, and when one counts on a seamless arrival and process that is usually associated with Fairmont and equivalent Accor hotels. Notwithstanding this, the suite was lovely, spacious and comfortable, well equipped and maintained. Gym was definitely amongst the better hotel gyms I've used, and staff were courteous and friendly. While the Gold lounge staff were all very friendly and helpful, there was not the personal attention and flair (even as simple as greeting and knowing guests names (again, luxuries but ones that it is easy to get used to at other Fairmonts and Sofitels, and so noticeable when lacking). Efficient and comfortable airport meet-n-greets which is always a relief when arriving and departing, as just takes off some pressure when under tight time constraints. In all, a good stay, but lacking that Fairmont special something.
Happy with overall room size, view. Water dispenser was slow and problematic and not giving cold or hot water. It was a waste of time to keep filling the bottles . Learn from ITC on sustainability. Food choices in buffet can be warmer and refilled properly. Kudos to Manu & team for managing
Well located with many facilities like shopping center, good dining restaurants. Front desk staffs are very friendly. My family enjoyed our stay very much.
