There was alot that was sub standard for a five star hotel. 1. One of the restaurants was closed for most of the stay 2. Pizza oven didn't work 3. I have two young children - either no or faults child seats 4. No outside lights - regularly had to sit and eat in the dark 5. Rooms weren't cleaned daily and then the staff were rude

All of the workers were so kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing and so well organized. The beach was beautiful and always had chairs and umbrellas available.

Beautiful beach and location. Amazing balcony overlooking to sunset. Tennis courts are good. Room dirty on arrival, rug filthy and stained. Bathroom needs a full refurbishment. Nothing nice about the bathroom. Some staff are ok but some extremely rude. No towels before 10.15am unless you’ve tipped and had some put out before you are even on the beach. Queuing for breakfast was annoying when there were tables available but staff couldn’t be bothered to clean. Overall not Fairmont's usual high standards. Don’t think we would return.
Our first stay at Fairmont RP and we were very happy with everything we experienced. We will definitely be returning next year.

One of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. It was the epitome of luxury & high class service. The fast track service at the airport was speedy & efficient. The transfer organised with the resort prior to our stay, was excellent & provided a suitable car seat for our baby. Upon arrival at the resort we were greeted by their friendly reception staff and a choice of refreshing drinks. The great service carried on upon check in by accommodating us by ensuring our room was right next to an elevator for our pram. The service throughout our stay was five star standard and beyond. They were very friendly, accommodating & always went out of their way for us. It was nice to also see the staff friendly with our baby, giving him lots of attention & keeping him entertained. The beach space is plentiful. There was always a sunbed available both at the beach and pool area. The beach bar is great feature to quench your thirst during the long walks along the beach in the heat. The rooms themselves were comfortable, spacious & had all the usual touches of luxury you would expect from a five star resort. The food at the resort was of a high standard too. The buffet breakfast was both delicious and varied. The Palm Terrace dinner we had was lovely & Taboras restaurant also served up good food. A great perk of the resort was that a child under the age of 5 ate for free. Even from room service! We felt this was a very nice touch as our baby felt more comfortable in the room during the evenings. The hotel offered free Yoga and Pilate sessions at the beach in the morning which my wife enjoyed. Overall I could not recommend Fairmont Royal Pavilon enough. The resort is fantastic, the service is impeccable & it really felt like a luxury 5 star stay. We will definitely be holidaying there again!
The Breakfast sadly would be rated at very poor , the quality of the food in the Buffet was very poor , the general speed of service although friendly was very slow .
Lovely hotel on a beautiful stretch of beach, great for a swim! Good service, everyone friendly and happy to help. Breakfast selection good.
