From Vancouver International Airport
(Approximately 3 hours)

Follow the signs to Grant McConachie Way, Vancouver and city center.
Proceed over the Arthur Laing Bridge.
Keep right and follow the signs to Granville Street and city center.
Go along Granville Street (approximately 8 km), then over the Granville Bridge.
Take the Seymour exit off Granville Bridge.
Follow Seymour Street 7 blocks to Georgia and turn left (west).
Head west along Georgia Street, approximately 12 blocks to Stanley Park.
Go through Stanley Park and onto the Lion's Gate Bridge.
As you leave the bridge, follow the signs for West Vancouver.
You will find yourself on Marine Drive.
At the 1st traffic light turn right onto Taylor Way.
At the 2nd traffic light, take the left lane and follow the signs to Horseshoe Bay.
At Horseshoe Bay, watch for the exit sign onto Highway 99 North to Squamish and Whistler.
Continue north along Highway 99 to Whistler Village.
Once you reach the Whistler Valley, proceed through 6 traffic lights and turn right at the 7th traffic light onto Lorimer Road.
Follow Lorimer Road through the traffic light to the Upper Village, until you reach the 4-way stop sign at Blackcomb Way.
Turn right onto Blackcomb Way.
Almost immediately, you will see The Fairmont Chateau Whistler sign at the foot of Chateau Boulevard (left-hand side).

Great location in Blackcomb...Fantastic staff and the food at the steakhouse was fab!

Nice to be able to drop our skis off at the bottom of the mopiuntain and a short walk for shoes. Great location. My son and I had a great long weekend skiing.

Mountainside perfection!

Chateau Whistler continues to embrace its mountainside location and provide a warm welcome to everyone. The holiday decorations at the entrance ( love the new glass enclosed fires) and the lobby ( the botanical creations are novel and gorgeous. The front desk, luggage, concierge, vehicle valet ,shuttle , ski valet ( inside and outside) and health club staff are personable and helpful. A big thank you to Doree, yoga instructor, for her class that got out the early season kinks and to the outdoor ski valets who took my skiis from the gondola exit so I could enjoy the fire pit and hot chocolate and the updated outdoor covered deck that has the best views of skiers and boarders coming down the mountain. An early season delight!

Washrooms were dirty and our luggage took a while to arrive. The toilet was disgusting and showers were tiny. The valet took a while to bring our car as-well. Drinks were alright no space to sit anywhere and a bit expensive. Car ride available was the best thing. The hot tubs were packed and jets weren’t working. Lots of dogs and dogs barking in the night. The room temp was off as it would be hot then cold then hot. Balcony is not existent and our view wasn’t the best. The restaurants were far away. I expected better for 500 a night lmao.

Good Stay

I've now stayed 3 days in a row. First day was Fairmont Gold King Room. The gold lounge was great, but the staff at the front were too busy conversating. We stayed in room 793, the room did not have a great view, expected better. Fireplace was nice. Outdoor poor is always great, service was a bit slow. Maybe limit the amount of kids in certain sections. Overall though great experience. The 2nd night we had to return because of the landslide. I booked, but did not get the benefits of being a gold member. The room we had faced the forest. The front desk did say there were better rooms available but their reserved for their premium members. Tried to book the chalet but it was fully booked. 3rd night, was back to regular. Overall good experience.

Amazing Hotel With Incredibly Friendly Staff

We traveled to Whistler for a conference held at the Fairmont. The meeting rooms were very nice, and we were well-fed and comfortable the whole time. Outside of the meeting, we had a fantastic time here. Everything was clean, and the staff were all extremely friendly. Special shout-outs to Taylor at the Mallard Bar and Katie at the ski valet - thanks for being so nice and accommodating to us! This was one of the best experiences we've ever had at any hotel. I recommend the Fairmont to anyone hoping for a relaxing and fun vacation.
