I first stayed at the Fairmont in San Francisco more than 40 years ago. It's alway's been special to me, but I had not been there in several years. This year for my birthday, I treated myself to another visit and it was a very good decision. The beauty, the service, the memories all contributed to what will now be an annual tradition.

I love the Fairmont! I used to prefer staying closer to the downtown but not anymore. It’s close enough to get anywhere fairly quickly but far enough away to feel like you got away. This time there was an issue checking in because the system was down. But Ziv made sure everything worked out. He was amazing!
We recently stayed in 2 rooms. One room was for a friend in a wheelchair. By time we checked the hotel staff knew her name and created an atmosphere that she flawlessly enjoyed. At dinner, the staff was prepared and my friend was brought to table and the waiters knew our reason for visiting. Food was fabulous too!
Our recent stay at the Fairmont SF was lovely. The staff was exceedingly courteous and helpful. William and Tadios at Valet/Bell Service were staff highlights! They were kind, jovial and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. My only recommendation would be to install a wider shower head; the heads in both of our showers gave off a narrow spray (even after adjusting the spray) that only reached a small section of my body at a time--and I'm not a huge person. The water pressure was fine despite the small spray. Overall, accommodations were excellent. Thanks for a wonderful, memorable stay. We will be back!

WiFi was out all evening, but Cameron and Daniel went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed to be ready for a work presentation.
Probably the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in any hotel.
The Fairmont is beautiful, your staff are very kind. I just found what I thought would be normal things to have weren't available.
So impressed by the existence of the ball room downstairs, which reminds me of good old days.
