We enjoyed our stay very much, chose to stay in the hotel for our 24 hours in SF (we live locally, an hour down the peninsula). Everything and everyone made us feel special. Our only complaint was the relatively high cost of things like coffees and croissants in the breakfast cafe, so high as to be surprising, but not high enough for us to abstain ;)

Two day staycation as friends from Europe were in town. The balcony suite provided excellent views of the courtyard and of the city. The staff is always so friendly and professional.

During a recent business trip, the hotel chosen by our global account partner caused some issues. First, I arrived, and the guy in the lobby told me that the room from my reservation was not available and that he would give me a different room from the one that I selected. (I was tired, and I just agreed to move forward.) On the second night of my stay, a hotel staff member approached me in my room and asked me to go to the lobby. Once there, a hotel team member informed me of an issue with the credit card I had used the previous night. Even though my company card had been declined because it had been used the night before and possibly blocked by the bank, the hotel manager, Lucas (manager of the night), insisted that I provide another credit card for the reservation. To my dismay, he even suggested that if I couldn't present an alternative credit card, I should leave the hotel, accusing me of fraud. My frustration was compounded by the fact that the finance team responsible for managing the card was based in NYC. He was a complete idiot and disrespectful. In conclusion, I'll never return to this hotel, even if my company has only this hotel to select from.
A friend of ours recommended a visit to the Tonga Room, the tiki bar on site, we were impressed with the atmosphere, and we decided to spend the night at the hotel. Our room was upgraded through my travel rewards membership and we got an amazing view of the city. The location of the hotel made it possible for us to explore a few places in the city with ease.
Reception staff friendly, but late check in (room not ready) at 5.00pm. Then weird recharge for WEFI etc. Not right for a premium hotel. Food average and expensive. Restaurant staff (especially reception) surly and unwelcoming. Housekeeping staff great. Conference food ok except for dinner which had gnocchi that was rubbery and fish that was overcooked (nowhere near premium hotel standard). So just felt like a hotel resting on its laurels and out of time.
In for the Stryker meeting. Your crew did a nice job with the lecture halls. No problems whatsoever
