The hotel parking's entrance is accessible from St. Louis Street. Valet parking is $50 CAD per 24-hour period, including in and out privileges.Clients who do not stay at Le Château Frontenac can also benefit from the parking. Entrance is via Mont-Carmel Street and rates are from $7 per half an hour, $45 for a maximum of 12 hours and $55 for a maximum of 24 hours. Over-sized vehicules and trailers are not accepted in the hotel parking. Maximum height is six feet. For these vehicles, self-parking is available at Parc Victoria (1, rue du Cardinal-Maurice-Roy) or at the Bassin Louise parking lot (155, rue Abraham-Martin - RVs authorized in summer only).

Our four beehives welcome 70 000 bees, producing up to 650 pounds of honey per year. The honey is harvested twice a year and is used in our kitchens, but also in our cocktails

Exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, all of our interactions with the hotel staff were fantastic. All staff were friendly, helpful, respectful, and professional. The hotel is beautiful. Our room had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Staying at Le Chateau Frontenac was amazing.

Good service, dated room

Hotel is obviously beautiful. However, it is not family friendly, if you travel with children below 18. Having stayed in tons of hotels, it is the first one we have stayed at, where you are unable to get a drink at the hotel if children are with you. Apparently, you have to be seated in the restaurant- which on two occasions did not have any seating, to order a drink if you have kids with you- as they are not allowed in the bar area. So, two of the three nights, we had a glass of wine in our room, bc there is nowhere on the property we could enjoy a drink other than our room. To there credit, the front desk was incredibly nice- and have recognized this is an issue, so they comped two glasses of wine for me and my wife, and two sprites for the kids- and sent them via room service. I’m not sure what is behind this for the hotel, as other hotels we visited had options like every other hotel we’ve ever stayed. My only thought is, bc it is a tourist destination, do they not provide a bar/lobby that can accommodate hotel guests, bc too many tourists would be there… causing more traffic in the hotel? If so, I’d suggest opening a place where hotel guests can go via keycard- where they can sit, relax, and enjoy the hotel without it being in their room.
Everything is perfect! Especially the bar, I had the best cocktail that I've ever had. Even though the name is the same on the menu, every bartender can include their own style on top of the regular taste.
Room was lovely and well appointed. The hotel is such a historical icon. Service in the 14th floor lounge was outstanding.

Prior to our arrival, I had a special request as we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. Rose at the concierge desk assisted me with the special request and also signed us up for a couple of the tours and dinner reservations. She explained that the tours we were interested in, could be very similar, which was VERY helpful. This helped us plan a better itinerary. Unfortunately, we were not able to thank her in person, as we had to leave for the airport before she started her shift. Rose even followed up after our departure to make sure everything worked out for us. She is a true PROFESSIONAL! We signed up for the mixology class on Tuesday, June 25th, at Bar 1608, with the bartender (sorry we can’t remember his name). He was EXCELLENT!! He was so personable and very informative. Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. We will definitely be coming back.
Everything was wonderful as always. My only disappointment was the food at the Bistro. My daughter ordered the halibut which was a special. The portion on the plate was so small, it could easily pass as a small child portion. I mentioned it to the server who said he would let the kitchen know. Nothing was done. My daughter wanted to order a side of fries but I gave her some of my meal. Have eaten there every time I stay at the Chateau and I must say this was the first time we were disappointed.
