    Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi, is located between Al Maqta and Mussafa bridges ("Bein Al Jesran"). The Abu Dhabi International Airport is 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) or a 15 minute drive from the hotel while the Dubai International Airport is 180 kilometers (112 miles) from the hotel.

Indian Wedding Season in this hotel was really loud

This was our first time at this hotel. Nice view to the mosque. Very bad service in a restaurant with a buffer. Out of the 4 days of stay, two days were an Indian wedding, which involves drumming in the middle of the night, unfortunately no one warned about this in advance. There was also a problem with calculating additional expenses, which, by the way, took quite a lot of time. The only thing that somehow smoothed out the unpleasant impressions was the free transfer to the airport thanks to the front manager.

Nice room and good food

Nice resort but some improvements can be made!

Review for Fairmont Stay During New Year’s Eve I stayed at the Fairmont during the busy New Year’s Eve period, and while the resort is beautiful, there were several disappointing aspects of my stay that I feel compelled to share. First, despite the resort being fully booked, the availability of sun loungers on the beach was nonexistent. Guests were left scrambling for them, leading to heated arguments and a less-than-relaxing experience. This is unacceptable for a property of this caliber. Second, the cleanliness of the beach toilets was below standard. For such a high-end resort, I expected much better hygiene and maintenance in these facilities. Regarding the New Year’s Eve package, we opted to dine at the Lebanese restaurant. While the package included some drinks, including prosecco, we were unexpectedly charged for champagne. Additionally, there was no initial mention of charges for spirits, yet we were billed an outrageous 200 EUR for two glasses of whiskey. This lack of transparency was disappointing and left a sour note on an otherwise enjoyable evening. Lastly, the service on the beach was subpar. Staff were inattentive, and it took far too long to place and receive orders. For a luxury resort, this level of service was far below expectations. Overall, while the resort has potential, these issues need immediate attention to meet the standards one would expect from a Fairmont property.

Pleasant stay with friends

Very enjoyable stay at the Fairmont Bab al Bahr. Highly rate the room size, the view from the king room and the breakfast. Couple of things I would have liked a place on the beach to get towels rather than having to trek into the hotel. The house wine is a poor choice in Bridges. The staff in Marco Pierre Whites steakhouse need training on how to pronounce items on the menu. Overall a pleasant stay.

Decent hotel, disorganized service

The hotel and facilities were ok, but the staff is completely untrained and overwhelemed. The majority of our pool orders were wrong, breakfast area service was completly overwhelemd and any instructions to the reception staff were not followed.

Great Stay!

A beautiful stay. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. Beach and pool areas are beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. Only dissatisfaction was the Kids Club which is very small and seems to need an upgrade.

Well located, perfect view.

At arrival late at night we were told that we would have booked rooms with backside view - which was not the case and which we could prove to the receptions desk. Apparently, there was a mistake at the booking. The discussion with staff at the reception took a while and was quite annoying, given the time. Also, interconnecting rooms were not available although clearly requested and reminded one day before the stay. This experience was quite disappointing and something which is very uncommon for the standard of such a hotel. Our stay was a bit shadowed by this bad experience. Further, breakfast room and available space was fully crowded, food lacking etc.

Breakfast and Marcos restaurant service was disappointingly slow. Too few sun beds at the beach. Kids club not great and closing early at 5pm. Overall value for money has much room for improvement.

Good but some disappointing features

The hotel itself was beautiful, the food could not be faulted however there was a severe lack of sun loungers outside, as well as this they also ran out of towels on multiple times blaming it on the guests who took too many even though the staff were the ones handing them out.
