A pleasant stay at Fairmont Windsor, situated on lovely grounds. Staff and service was firs class and they looked after my partner and I very well.
Place is wonderful, food was fantastic and staff were welcoming and polite apart from the girl on reception when we checked out! She asked how my stay was and I said it was just ok, I went on to state that it would of been nice to have been warned about the wedding that was going on that day where there so many people checking in and cars everywhere so much so that we had to park in the overspill car park as we could not get near the reception to drop our bags off, then there was the wedding from the day before which made the place like a building site! Lunch on the veranda was greeted with workmen talking down a marquee (I have pictures I can send) then when we went for a walk Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning again workmen everywhere talking down the marquee are front of the hotel as well as truck and vans constantly dropping off and picking up various things! The girl on reception did not say anything, not an apology.. just told me to check my bill and sign! Very rude and seemed like she did not care! I understand your a busy hotel and have weddings but if we were told we would have booked another day where our stay would not have been ruined and put a disappointing finish to my wife’s birthday.

Fire alarm at 1130pm meaning I had to evacuate my 3 young children (0,3&5) from the room. Budget breakfast was good but staff did not explain the menu/what was included In general staff had limit Knowledge and
3rd time staying at this hotel and again didn’t disappoint! Excellent service, food and accommodation all within a great area of Surrey!
This is our fourth stay with the Fairmont Windsor, and after a number of issues with our last visit, your staff went above and beyond to upgrade us to an amazing suite. This was greatly appreciated and made our stay. Staff were (as always) as attentive and professional as possible, but it is clear sometimes (as with all hospitality venues) that finding / retaining experienced staff in the numbers that a hotel like Fairmont Windsor needs, can be a challenge.
We would have scored a 10! But we were there the night of the fire alarm going off after 11am. We were staying with our 2 four year old grandchildren and had to wake them, dress them and take them out doors. It was then difficult to settle them, so not the best nights sleep! Would have like more and longer swimming times for the children

When I got into my suite I didn’t want to leave , the room was lovely and so comfortable The Fairmont is almost like being transported back into time , where good service was at an excellent standard . The food , the facilities , the ambience , the staff all were outstanding . I will definitely be back .
From the moment I was greeted at the door to the hotel by the doorman, who introduced himself and took me to Reception, where I checked in for my stay. Check in was easy and very straight forward. I was then escorted to my room and shown how everything works. I cannot describe how beautiful my room was and the bathroom was just sublime. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower in the morning was out of this world, hot and had lots of power.
Really comfortable rooms, excellent food but breakfast disappointing
